Copyright protection for the image is no longer legally secure due to AI. As my photos, including those in the ‘Gallery’ section, are no longer legally protected in this way, I have decided to remove the images from my website.
Maintaining contact and reaching an agreement with the model regarding publications is more important to me than any AI image-editing programme over which I no longer have control.
Three aspects may infringe current copyright law:
- the right to edit
- the right to reproduce
- and public accessibility
My agreement with the model regarding when, how and where we present the photographs is our mutual, private arrangement — and is not controlled by an unknown AI programme, e.g. in Asia or elsewhere!
I very much regret that I have had to withdraw all the photographs due to the uncertain legal situation. I ask for your understanding.
